Emergency Street Closure – Madison Street

Beginning immediately on Thursday, September 4, 2025, West Madison Street is closed between Lyndale Avenue and Western Avenue.

The City of Sioux Falls Water Maintenance and Street Divisions are working on a repair. The street is expected to be open later this evening.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
