How it Works

Sixty-four of our finest green spaces are stepping into the arena, and only one will be the winner. Welcome to the first annual Park Madness tournament! The parks were seeded by Parks & Recreation's District Parks Supervisors, and there's bound to be some upsets! 

This is your chance to champion your favorite park, discover hidden gems, and maybe even settle some long-standing park rivalries. (We're looking at you, dog park enthusiasts.)

Each round, we'll pit our parks against each other in head-to-head matchups. You will cast your votes for your favorite parks and decide who will advance. See the latest winners below!

Voting Schedule

  • March 3-6: Round of 64 (First Round) The results are in!
  • March 7-10: Round of 32 (Second Round) You have spoken! (Is your bracket a bust?)
  • March 11-14: Sweet 16 (Third Round)  The Madness! Huge upsets and close calls!
  • March 15-18: Elite 8 Four Parks remain...cue the INTENSITY!
  • March 19-22: Final Four Only the strongest survive to battle it out for park supremacy!
  • March 23-26: Championship Round This is it! It all comes down to your vote. Who will be #1?
