Street Closure – 72nd Street North

Beginning on Thursday, September 25, 2025, 72nd Street North will be closed between North Seubert Avenue and 476th Avenue to allow crews to install water main, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage improvements. Traffic will be detoured to 258th Street and I-90 via 476th Avenue and SD Highway 115 (Cliff Avenue). Local access to property owners will be maintained throughout construction.

This work is expected to be completed in late November.

Motorists are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
