Street Construction Updates & Closures

Street Closure – Cleveland Avenue

Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on October 15, 2025, North Cleveland Avenue will be closed to through traffic from Tenth Street to 12th Street. Access to businesses will be available.

The City of Sioux Falls Street Division will be conducting a milling surface project.

This work is anticipated to be completed by 4:00 p.m. on October 15, 2025.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – Western Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the outside southbound lane of South Western Avenue between 50th Street and the I-229 southbound exit will be closed to allow crews to perform sidewalk repairs.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within two days.
