Lane Closure – Russell Street

Beginning on Friday, October 31, 2025, the outside westbound lane of West Russell Street will be closed east of Kiwanis Avenue to allow the contractor to complete concrete repairs. Access to the Elmwood Golf Course will be maintained.

Weather permitting, the repairs are expected to be finished in one week.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane and Sidewalk Closure – Kiwanis Avenue

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025, the outside southbound lane of South Kiwanis Avenue will be closed between 26th Street and 33rd Street. The west sidewalk will be closed, and pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the east sidewalk. 

Dave’s Construction LLC will be doing utility work. This work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by the end of the day on Friday, November 7, 2025.
