Street Construction Updates & Closures

Lane Closure – Veterans Parkway

Beginning on Monday, November 17, 2025, the outside southbound lane and shoulder of Veterans Parkway will be closed between 18th Street and 26th Street to allow crews to install water main. One lane of southbound traffic will be maintained during this work. 

This work is expected to be completed in approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – 41st Street

Beginning on Monday, November 17, 2025, the inside eastbound lane of West 41st Street will be closed east of Ellis Road to allow the contractor to complete concrete repairs.

This work is expected to be completed in approximately one week, weather permitting

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closure – South Marion Road

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, the northbound lane of South Marion Road will be closed between 57th Street and 53rd Street. Northbound traffic will be shifted into the center turn lane. 

TSB Communications will be doing utility work. This work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by the end of the day on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

Lane Closure – Minnesota Avenue

Beginning on Monday, November 17, 2025, the outside southbound lane of South Minnesota Avenue will be closed between 10th Street and 11th Street to allow the contractor to complete concrete repairs.

Weather permitting, the repairs are expected to be finished in one week.
