Street and Sidewalk Closure – Dakota Avenue

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, South Dakota Avenue will be closed between 10th Street and Ninth Street. Traffic will be detoured to South Minnesota Avenue. The west sidewalk will be closed along South Dakota Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the east sidewalk.

Landwehr Construction, Inc. will be doing crane work. This work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by the end of the day on Friday, December 19, 2025.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street and Sidewalk Closure – Mall Avenue

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, South Mall Avenue will be closed between 11th Street and 10th Street. The west sidewalk along South Mall Avenue will be closed. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the east sidewalk adjacent to South Phillips Avenue.

Northwest Corp. will be doing crane work. This work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by the end of the day.
