Lane Closures – 41st Street

Beginning on Monday, January 5, 2026, the outside westbound lane of West 41st Street will be closed weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the bridge over the Big Sioux River to allow trucks to enter the roadway. Crews will be excavating material from drainage ponds north of 41st Street.

This work is expected to be complete in approximately 4 weeks, weather permitting.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
