Lane Closure – Phillips Avenue and Second Avenue

Beginning on Friday, April 17, 2026, the southbound parking lane along Phillips Avenue and Second Avenue will be closed north of 14th Street to allow crews to perform accessible curb ramp repairs.

Weather permitting, construction is expected to be complete by the end of the day.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – Linedrive Avenue

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026, South Linedrive Avenue will be closed between 41st Street and Burnsfield Avenue.

KCDS is working on a utility tie-in.

The street is expected to be open by the end of the day on Monday, April 27, 2026.

Extended Lane and Sidewalk Closure – Minnesota Avenue

The outside northbound lane closure of South Minnesota Avenue between 33rd Street and 31st Street will be extended to the end of the day on Friday, April 24, 2026. The east sidewalk will remain closed, with pedestrian traffic detouring to the east along South Dakota Avenue. The pedestrian detour will remain until the middle of May.
