Beginning on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, the southbound outside lane and shoulder of Veterans Parkway will be closed between 26th Street and 41st Street to allow crews to complete concrete pavement and curb and gutter repairs.
At a minimum, one lane of the southbound traffic will remain open. In the upcoming weeks, the location of the lane closure will vary. Access to businesses, homes and side streets will be maintained.
Construction activities along Veterans Parkway between 26th Street and 41st Street will be ongoing through July 2026.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
