Lane Closure – Ellis Road

Revised Start Date

Beginning on Monday, June 1, 2026, there will be daytime lane closures along South Ellis Road at 46th Street. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic. These closures are a part of the roadway and utility improvements along 46th Street from Ellis Road to Klein Avenue.

Weather permitting, day closure work along Ellis Road is anticipated to be completed within two weeks.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Street Closure – Thompson Avenue

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, South Thompson Avenue will be closed between 17th Street and 16th Street.

MidAmerican Energy will be doing a gas service. The work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by the end of the day.
