Siouxland Libraries and Levitt at the Falls will host international singer, saxophonist, and composer Grace Kelly for a free interactive music workshop for children and families on Monday, June 8, at the Downtown Library Branch, 200 N. Dakota Ave.
The event begins at 10 a.m. and will feature a kid-friendly workshop and mini performances designed to encourage creativity and introduce families to music through hands-on participation.
“We’re excited to partner with Levitt at the Falls to offer families an opportunity to experience live music in an interactive and welcoming environment,” said Nicole Norton, senior librarian for Siouxland Libraries. “Programs like this encourage creativity, support early learning, and help connect children and families through the arts.”
Families can arrive early or stay after the program to participate in activities including chalk drawing, bubbles, music-themed stations, and Summer Reading Program registration.
The workshop is part of Kelly’s weeklong artist residency leading up to her performance Friday, June 12, at Levitt at the Falls.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for seating.
The event is free, but registration is encouraged. To register, visit siouxlandlib.org/events.
