The street closure on West Blackhawk Street between Minnesota Avenue and A Avenue has been extended to the end of the day on June 15, 2026. Motorists can use either Algonquin Street or Russel Street as a detour route.
Runge Enterprises Inc. are installing new utilities.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026, West Algonquin Street will be closed from A Avenue to the intersection of Industrial Avenue and Blackhawk Street. The sidewalk on Algonquin Street will be closed between Pass and A Avenue.
Northwest Corp. will be doing crane work.
This work is anticipated to be completed the end of the day on June 10, 2026.
