Extended Street Closure – East 19th Street
The East 19th Street closure from South Fifth Avenue to South Sixth Avenue will be extended to June 16. The south sidewalk will be closed, and pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the north sidewalk.
Johnson Dirt Works will be tapping into a water and sewer main.

Extended Street Closure – South Oxbow Avenue
The South Oxbow Avenue street closure between West 57th Street and South Cottonwood Place will be extended to the end of the day on June 10, 2026. Traffic is detoured to West 49th Street by way of South Louise Avenue. The west sidewalk of South Oxbow Avenue is closed, and pedestrian traffic is detoured west onto South Tennis Lane.
Precision Dirtworks is installing utilities.

Extended Street Closure – West Algonquin Street
The West Algonquin Street closure from A Avenue to the intersection of North Industrial Avenue and West Blackhawk Street will be extended to June 12, 2026. The sidewalk of West Algonquin Street is closed between East Pass and A Avenue.

Street Closure – North Fairfax Avenue
Beginning Tuesday, June 9, 2026, North Fairfax Avenue will be closed at the East First Street intersection to allow crews to install a valley gutter across Fairfax Avenue. Motorists should utilize East Second Street to enter and exit the neighborhood.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed in one week.

Lane Closures – 69th Street
Beginning Monday, June 15, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., lane closures will be in place on 69th Street from Louise Avenue to just west of Landau Circle to allow the contractor to mill and overlay the roadway. One lane of traffic will remain open in each direction throughout the project. As paving operations progress through intersections, motorists should expect delays.
Weather permitting, the overlay is expected to be completed by June 26, 2026, with pavement markings to follow.

Lane Closure – West 41st Street
Beginning on Monday, June 15, 2026, the eastbound lanes of West 41st Street, across the bridge, will be closed to allow crews to begin bridge repairs. Once repairs are completed, we will be shifting the lane closures to the westbound lanes of West 41st Street.
Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each direction at all times.
Work is anticipated to be completed in late June.
