Sidewalk Closure - Sixth Street and Spring Avenue

Beginning on Thursday, June 25, 2026, portions of the sidewalk will be closed at the intersection of West Sixth Street and Spring Avenue to allow crews to perform accessible curb ramp repairs.

The sidewalk on the north side of Sixth Street will be closed during this work for approximately one to two weeks. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured around the work zone.

Once the work on the north side of Sixth Street is completed, work will shift to the south side of Sixth Street for one to two weeks.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed by the middle of July.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane and Sidewalk Closure - 12th Street and Lyons Avenue

Beginning on Monday, June 29, 2026, the eastbound lanes of West 12th Street will be reduced to two lanes and a turn lane between Edmond Avenue and Lyons Avenue to allow crews to perform accessible curb ramp repairs. 

The sidewalk on the south side of 12th Street will also be closed during this work with pedestrian traffic detouring around the work zone.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the week.
