Street Closure – Birnhamwood Drive

Beginning at 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, West Birnhamwood Drive will be closed between Marion Road and Edna Avenue to place a crane for work being done on the HVAC for Hy-Vee.

This work is anticipated to be completed by noon the same day.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Intersection Closure – 12th Street and Highland Avenue

Beginning on Thursday, July 16, 2026, the intersection of East 12th Street and Highland Avenue will be closed for storm drainage repairs.

Motorists should utilize other neighborhood streets during the closure.

Weather permitting, this intersection is anticipated to reopen in four weeks.
