Beginning on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. the outside westbound lane of East 57th Street will be closed between South Baha Avenue and South Tennis Lane. The north sidewalk will be closed along the same area. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the south sidewalk.
Xcel Energy will be replacing a power pole.
The work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by the end of the day on September 9, 2026.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
