Who We Are

Housing is a division of Planning and Development Services at the City of Sioux Falls. Our team is dedicated to connecting people in Sioux Falls with resources that help ensure safe and sustainable living conditions.

We help people ensure decent, safe, and sanitary living conditions by providing programs that assist with repairs and improvements.

Income Limit Guidelines

The following housing programs are subject to income verification:

Single-Family Rehabilitation Program

This program provides financial assistance to low- and moderate-income homeowners to maintain their properties in a decent, safe, and sanitary condition.

Mobile Home Repair Program

The Mobile Home Repair Program in Sioux Falls provides low- and moderate-income residents financial assistance for repair services on their mobile homes.

Rental Rehabilitation Program

The Rental Rehabilitation Program in Sioux Falls provides financial assistance in the form of low-interest loans to rental owners for maintaining and repairing their properties within the city limits.

Public Safety Down Payment Assistance Program

The Public Safety Down Payment Assistance program in Sioux Falls offers public safety officers who buy and live in a home in certain neighborhoods forgivable loans.

Neighborhood Revitalization Program

Sioux Falls works to rebuild neighborhoods.
