Business Hazardous Waste Management Program

The City of Sioux Falls, in partnership with Veolia Environmental Services, provides small businesses and institutional facilities with an affordable option to dispose of a limited amount of hazardous waste.

To keep costs down, participants are only charged for the actual disposal expenses related to the hazardous material. The City of Sioux Falls covers expenses related to material mobilization, transportation, and contractor labor for proper disposal.

It only takes one gallon of used motor oil to contaminate a million gallons of water, so increasing proper disposal of hazardous waste helps lower the risk of environmental pollution.
