Commuter Route Information

The water main for the project will be bored under 476th Avenue, which will no longer result in an intersection closure. Local access for residents and property owners along 72nd Street North will be maintained during construction.

Project Summary

This construction project will consist of the demolition, realignment, and reconstruction of 72nd Street North from North Seubert Avenue to 476th Avenue. Project work includes installing sanitary sewer, watermain, and storm drainage. 72nd Street North will be constructed as a rural gravel roadway section in anticipation for pavement to be installed in a future project. Portions of the project that were previously paved will be re-paved with asphalt after the completion of the project.
