Project Update: 10/31/2025

The contractor has completed concrete paving along Arrowhead Parkway from 10th Street to just east of Veterans Parkway and has reconstructed the Arrowhead service road.  They have also been working on the final grading along Arrowhead and Veterans Parkway in preparation for the winter months. Final restoration will occur in the spring of 2026.

The contractor is currently working on installing the asphalt roadway transition from Veterans Parkway east to the new concrete pavement on Arrowhead Parkway.  They are also continuing to work on installing asphalt pavement for the bike trails along Veterans Parkway

Commuter Route Information

2025

  • Arrowhead Parkway will be closed east of Veterans Parkway for the duration of the 2025 construction season.

2026

  • Arrowhead Parkway will close east of Veterans Parkway for about 5-6 weeks, first thing in the spring, to remove the temporary asphalt transition, construct the east lanes of Veterans Parkway, and connect to Arrowhead Parkway going east
  • After the work east of Veterans is complete and reopened to traffic, Arrowhead Parkway will close west of Veterans Parkway and remain closed for the duration of the 2026 construction season
  • Veterans Parkway will remain open to one lane of traffic in each direction throughout the 2026 construction season

2027

  • Periodic lane closures may occur in the spring of 2027 as work is finalized and general site cleanup occurs.
