Project Update: 06/02/2025

• The contractor is continuing work on the sanitary sewer and storm drainage piping on the east end of the project. The water main along Veterans Parkway from 6^th Street to Arrowhead Parkway has been completed.
• The contractor continues to move soil on the project to build up the proposed roadway alignment.  This will continue through the summer months and into the fall.

Commuter Route Information

2025

• Arrowhead Parkway will be closed east of Veterans Parkway for the duration of the 2025 construction season.
• Arrowhead Parkway west of Veterans Parkway will remain open during 2025, except for approximately one month in the fall of 2025 to complete a temporary transition to the new pavement elevation to maintain traffic over the winter.
• Veterans Parkway will remain open to one lane of traffic in each direction at all times during 2025 except for approximately one week in the fall of 2025 to complete a temporary transition to the new pavement elevation to maintain traffic over the winter.
• Hein Avenue will be closed at Arrowhead Parkway from approximately March through August of 2025.
• 23^rd Street will be closed at Veterans Parkway for approximately one month during 2025. The exact timing of this closure is to be determined.

2026

• Arrowhead Parkway will be closed west of Veterans Parkway for the duration of the 2026 construction season.
• Arrowhead Parkway east of Veterans Parkway will remain open to one lane of traffic in each direction at all times during 2026.
• Veterans Parkway will remain open to one lane of traffic in each direction at all times during 2026.

2027

• Periodic lane closures may occur in the spring of 2027 as work is finalized and general site cleanup occurs.
