Minnesota Avenue from 2nd Street to 8th Street Reconstruction

• Utility work will continue along the corridor with 42” and 8” water main installation currently progressing on the west side of the road and 12” sanitary sewer and  54” storm sewer continuing on the east side of the road.

• As the utility work on the west side of Minnesota Ave from 2^nd to 4^th Street progresses, preparation for surfacing will take place soon thereafter.

Commuter Route Information

• Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction along Minnesota Avenue from 2^nd Street to 8^th Street. Access to side streets within the construction zone is limited. No left turns are allowed through the work zone. 
• Please follow the project detours. Eastbound and westbound left turns are restricted due to the single-lane traffic.  Pedestrian detours are established to allow crossings at 8^th Street and Brookings Street.
