Minnesota Avenue from 2nd Street to 8th Street Reconstruction

Construction has begun on the east side of Minnesota Avenue with pavement removals and temporary traffic signals. Work is set to begin on the sanitary sewer installation from 4^th Street to 2^nd Street, with rock excavation beginning at the end of March.

Commuter Route Information

• Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction along Minnesota Avenue from 2^nd Street to 8^th Street. Access to side streets within the construction zone will be limited. 

• Please follow the project detours. Eastbound and westbound left turns are restricted due to the single-lane traffic.  Pedestrian detours are established to allow crossings at 8^th Street and Brookings Street.
