Arrowhead Parkway is closing between Highline Avenue and Veterans Parkway beginning on Thursday, May 21. Arrowhead Parkway will reopen east of Veterans Parkway on May 21 as well.

The contractor has completed the concrete paving for the driving lanes on Arrowhead Parkway from Veterans Parkway to Hein Avenue, as well as the new northbound driving lanes of Veterans Parkway.

Construction will now focus on the west side of the project, with Arrowhead Parkway closing from Highline Avenue to Veterans Parkway.  Arrowhead Parkway will be open from 10^th Street to Veterans Parkway. Traffic can turn either north or south at the intersection of Veterans Parkway.  The closure on the west side of the intersection will last until later this fall.

The next few months on the project will include pavement removals, site excavation, utility work, pedestrian underpass construction, and miscellaneous concrete paving.

• Arrowhead Parkway will be closed east of Veterans Parkway until Thursday, May 21.

• Arrowhead Parkway will close west of Veterans Parkway to Highline Avenue beginning on Thursday, May 21. Arrowhead Parkway, east of Veterans Parkway to Hein Avenue, will reopen on May 21. Veterans Parkway remains open throughout the duration of construction.
