Commuter Route Information

  • Installation of pavement markings will take place after the concrete joint repair project – work on pavement markings will not begin until after July 20, 2026. Temporary lane closures are expected. Updates and traffic changes will be shared through news releases as the project progresses.

Project Summary

This project includes removing and installing pavement markings and street signs along Veterans Parkway from 57th Street to just north of Maple Street, excluding the section between 18th Street and 6th Street. Improvements will include new lane striping to accommodate an additional travel lane and dual left-turn lanes at select intersections, helping improve traffic flow and safety.
