The intersection of 476th Avenue and 72nd Street North (Phase A) will be open in early September. It’s currently closed from I-90 Frontage Road to Slip Up Creek Road while the contractor finishes grading and paving. After the intersection is completed, the contractor will finish sanitary sewer and storm drainage installation along 72nd Street North and plans to finish paving by the end of September.

This construction project will consist of the demolition, realignment, and reconstruction of 72nd Street North from North Seubert Avenue to 476th Avenue. Project work includes installing sanitary sewer and storm drainage, and removing the existing gravel road. 72nd Street North will be reconstructed as a two-lane rural asphalt roadway section from where the asphalt ends near Seubert Avenue east to 476th Avenue.
