The intersection of 476^th Avenue and 72^nd Street North (Phase A) will be open in early September. It’s currently closed from I-90 Frontage Road to Slip Up Creek Road while the contractor finishes grading and paving. After the intersection is completed, the contractor will finish sanitary sewer and storm drainage installation along 72^nd Street North and plans to finish paving by the end of September.

Commuter Route Information

• 72^nd Street North is currently closed to through traffic. The detour route is to 258^th Street and I-90 via 476^th Avenue and SD Highway 115 (475^th Avenue).
• Northbound 476^th Avenue is closed from I-90 Frontage Road to Slip Up Creek Road. The detour route is to use 258^th Street to/from SD Highway 115 (475^th Avenue). Signage for the SD Veterans Cemetery, Laurel Ridge Barn Event Center, and Mapleton Golf Club is noted on the detour route, including northbound I-229. See the detour sketch
