Project Final Design is currently in progress with an anticipated bid opening in mid-May.

Commuter Route Information

  • Traffic Impacts are still being coordinated with Lincoln County and are subject to change. The current plan would close 271st Street in one-mile segments while the work is being completed. Commuters will be detoured around the site using SD Highway 11.

Project Summary

This project will be located along 271st Street (County Highway 106) between Western Avenue and Southeastern Avenue. Improvements will include installing a watermain and a sanitary sewer trunk main in preparation for future development from I-29 to SD Highway 11.
