Project Summary

This construction project is the second phase of the City’s third connection to the Lewis & Clark Regional Water System. A 24” PVC water transmission main (Phase 2A) will be installed in the road ditch along 12th Street (Highway 42) from the west end of the Cherry Lake Subdivision to 467th Avenue, and then south along 467th Avenue for about a quarter mile.

In addition to the water transmission main, this project will also include constructing a water meter building off 467th Avenue (Phase 2B) and a connection at the West Reservoir near 26th Street and I-29 (Phase 2C), where this new water source will enter the city’s water distribution system.  

Bidding for the water transmission main (Phase 2A) project is scheduled for mid-April. The water meter building (Phase 2B) and the west reservoir connection (Phase 2C) will be bid later this spring. Details will be communicated on this webpage and via mail to residents in the construction zone.
