Arrowhead Parkway

The City of Sioux Falls and the SDDOT have been cooperatively working together to evaluate the needs of the Arrowhead Parkway from east of Sycamore Avenue to the Big Sioux River. This corridor reconstruction has been occurring in phases. Phase 1 from Sycamore Avenue to Highline Avenue is complete. Phase 2 is the realignment of Arrowhead Parkway and Six Mile Road and reconstruction from 10th Street to nearly 26th Street is complete. Phase 2A is the intersection reconstruction of Arrowhead Parkway and Veterans Parkway. Phase 3 is the reconstruction of Arrowhead Parkway from 26th Street to the Big Sioux River. All reconstruction and widening is needed due to traffic growth in the surrounding areas. The City and SDDOT have jointly hired the design team of Infrastructure Design Group, Inc. and HDR, Inc. to review and update the needed improvements within the corridor based on current and future traffic capacity and infrastructure needs.

This website will have quarterly updates, exhibits, public meeting information, and more on the progress on the project. Interested citizens should stay involved by watching this website.

Phase 3 information is available for public review and comment at the link below.
