Shoulder and Sidewalk Closure – 26th Street

Beginning on Monday, September 29, 2025, the shoulder and sidewalk along the south side of West 26th Street will be closed between Marion Road and Edna Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the north sidewalk. 

Backhaus Excavation and Underground LLC will be doing utility work.

This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the day on October 13, 2025.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
