Lane and Sidewalk Closure – 85th Street

Beginning on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. the westbound outside lane of West 85th Street between Brande Place and Western Avenue will be closed. Traffic will be shifted to the left turn lane. The north sidewalk will be closed and pedestrian traffic heading east will be assisted by flaggers.

Xcel Energy will be doing utility work.

This work is anticipated to be completed by the end of the day.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
