Sioux Falls Regional Landfill

The Sioux Falls Regional Landfill plays a crucial role in efficiently and responsibly managing waste for Sioux Falls and its surrounding communities. Both commercial waste haulers and the public are welcome at the landfill. Commercial waste haulers are required to obtain a license from the City of Sioux Falls to transport waste to the landfill.

Residents can also bring materials to the landfill, and residents living within the five-county region are eligible to receive one free visit per calendar year. There is no charge for single-stream recyclables deposited into containers located in the residential drop-off area at the landfill.
