Parks and Recreation is working to replace the pool at Frank Olson Park. The public has been involved in planning the future of this park.

Based on community input, Parks and Recreation shared concepts for the park. Concepts include park enhancements and a two-story indoor wellness center with a pool, gym, and health and wellness areas.

About Frank Olson Park

Frank Olson Park is a 31-acre park in eastern Sioux Falls. It has two sides, bisected by 18th Street.

The north side of the park has a pool complex, an outdoor ice rink, playground, picnic shelter, tennis courts, softball fields, and parking lot. The pool complex is about 50 years old and does not meet current codes or standards.

The south side of the park has softball fields, batting cages, a restroom, playground, picnic shelter, and on-street parking.
