City Extends Tree/Branch Drop Site Hours, Clarifies Pick-up Efforts

The City of Sioux Falls has extended its operational hours for the two branch and tree drop sites that were opened following the severe storm that passed through Sioux Falls on Monday evening, July 28. The sites will now be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

Oak View Branch to Temporarily Close for Renovations

Siouxland Libraries’ Oak View Branch will temporarily close on Monday, August 18, 2025, as the branch location undergoes renovations. These upgrades will modernize the 20-year-old facility and enhance the guest experience.
