Water Reclamation Maintenance Team

The Maintenance Team makes sure equipment at the water reclamation facility works safely. The team includes a maintenance supervisor, mechanics, electricians, a parts and inventory technician, and part-time staff.

What They Maintain

The team takes care of pumps, motors, valves, filters, digesters, electrical systems, and heating and cooling equipment. Their work includes:

  • Regular inspections

  • Routine maintenance to catch problems early

  • Fast repairs to prevent major breakdowns

By the Numbers

  • The team repairs and maintains over 600 pieces of equipment in more than 20 buildings.

  • They maintain the facility's electrical system, which includes a 13,800-volt power network and a 4,160-volt system.

  • They support motors as large as 600 horsepower at the main pump station.

  • They handle major repairs at pump stations across the wastewater collection system.
